I think I heard that, in some previous patch, successfully installing your candidate on the throne has a small chance of giving you a force union CB on Poland. Is this actually true?
This is the event I was referring to. But I can't seem to actually find any information about it.There is an event that can trigger if you have someone of your dynasty on the Polish/Commonwealth throne which gives you a unification CB.
EDIT: To be more precise, there used to be such an event which I can confirm to have used to get a PU with Poland several times, and I am unaware of that event having been removed. Would need to check in the files since it doesn't appear to be listed in the wiki.
Gone the way of the annex mamlukes event? This is the event I was referring to. But I can't seem to actually find any information about it.
The Ottos used to have a LOT of very powerful events. Plus their Ghazis idea used to give +200% manpower recovery speed...there was an annex mamlukes event?
if that was for ottoblob then i totally understand the removal
Surely a patch typo like +100% missionary strength from horde divine? The Ottos used to have a LOT of very powerful events. Plus their Ghazis idea used to give +200% manpower recovery speed...
If mamlukes and persia were in a coalition against you, you'd still need to core all the landthere was an annex mamlukes event?

I can find an event that gives Poland/The Commonwealth ruler's origin-country a Union CB on Poland, and one that gives Poland/The Commonwealth a claim on a province in the capital area of their ruler's origin-country.Can anyone confirm that the Poland event is actually gone?
Interesting, so it still exists but it's pretty unlikely to happen on the 4 year pulse with that base weight.
If you manage to constantly put your heir on the throne it is very likely to happen at a certain point, though.Interesting, so it still exists but it's pretty unlikely to happen on the 4 year pulse with that base weight.
Yeh ive got that province claim event before, quite weak
Yeah, but it has to happen for Poland, and it has a base weight of 25, compared to other events from the same family, or other categories on the 4 year pulse, which have higher weights of 100-150, so I'd say still quite unlikely. Plus if they reform into normal monarchies in the age of absolutism, you basically have an around 200 year window for it to happen, which means 50 chances out of X possible pulse events, and Poland also has to be at peace for it, so even if he is at war only a quarter of that time, that's already 12-13 chances gone.If you manage to constantly put your heir on the throne it is very likely to happen at a certain point, though.
Nope, it was intended and in the game like that for a long time. I think it was just before the devs realized how powerful manpower recovery speed was.Surely a patch typo like +100% missionary strength from horde divine?
