Does Semper Fi need HOI3 patches?

Getting ready to install Semper Fi.

I originally purchased HOI3 the day it became available last year but switched back to HOI2: Armageddon and later to AoD for a variety of reasons.

Figured I would have another go at HOI3 now that some improvements have been implemented to make it more playable/enjoyable.

My question is: do I need to install the HOI3 patches in succession, then install SF, or is SF cummulative?

Based purely on pass experience with PI games I would say no.

Probably best to install 1.4, just to make sure

According to King you can install SF over vanilla HOI3 1.0.

I used a 1.0 install to test the gold master installer.

I installed HOI3 1.0 and installed Semper Fi without using any patch.
