I just noticed with the rule on or off I can marry one? Would the secret Religions turned on effect this? So you could secretly convert to your wife's religion? or vice versa?
Doesn't matter which government type I have tried it with all . I can marry any one on that map . With in diplo rangeWhat's your governmemt type?

It becomes silly because then the AI gets claims all over the Map and presses those claims . The map is all border gore No nation has defined borders? NONE its terrible
I honestly think it's more of a bug considering you mentioned that you play with the game rule on or off for interfaith marriage. What's your game rules for maternal marriages and women's rights?Doesn't matter which government type I have tried it with all . I can marry any one on that map . With in diplo range
You aren't a country like in EU4, you are a person who own land and is an aristocrat. If someone inherits certain land that's outside their borders; it's fair game.It becomes silly because then the AI gets claims all over the Map and presses those claims . Women's Rights are historicalI honestly think it's more of a bug considering you mentioned that you play with the game rule on or off for interfaith marriage. What's your game rules for maternal marriages and women's rights?

I understand why it happens in France and Germany that is almost historical. But The Muslin and Hindu world?"Nation" isn't really much of a concept for most of the lands and times this game covers. At most the de jure borders represent a concept of general agreement (in-universe) about where the borders traditionally are, and in large parts of the map, those are ahistorical concessions to game mechanics.
I think it is probably also aggravated by its limitation of each holder having at most one lord who has to outrank them, since if you inherit something elsewhere the only options are a) don't give it to you or b) move it to your realm. I suspect it would take a major engine rewrite to do that though. (If we eventually get CKIII I hope that's a change they make for it.)
Ya I do Understand LOL almost 4k Hrs playing CK2 LOLI honestly think it's more of a bug considering you mentioned that you play with the game rule on or off for interfaith marriage. What's your game rules for maternal marriages and women's rights?
