Does My MacBook work for Hoi4?

Hello,

My specs for my MacBook are

Macbook Pro (13-inch, 2017)
Processor 2.5GHz Intel Core i7
Memory 16GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3
Graphics Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 1536 MB

Would this game be able to run the game? I am fine with playing the game on really low settings. Also another concern I am wondering is this gonna cause any overheating issues for the MacBook? I tried to play Eu4 and that made the fan go crazy

My macbook is older and the specs are at best equal to yours, usually worse. I can run Hoi4 even without crazy low settings, although not the top settings either. These are my specs:

13 Inch 2013 Macbook
Processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics: Intel Iris 1536 MB

The fan does go a bit nuts for me on both HoI4 and EU4 - if I play for more than an hour or so I like to have some external cooling (a small fan blowing over the computer resting on a hard surface is usually sufficient).

Maybe so but the user cannot read the thread there as they don't have the game registered. So back to the main forum!

The game will run, you would want to reduce settings in Options-Video and turn off day/night cycle. Whether it will run acceptably for you like that I can't say.

I can't speak to the temperatures question I'm sorry.

You can buy the game from us or Steam, and refund it if it doesn't work well enough for you.
