Does Maintenence Affect Drill?

Pretty simple question...

If you lower your troop maintenence does your drilling suffer? Is it more effective to have low maintenence until the build up of war and drill your armies before it, or can you simply drill with low maintenence and recieve same drill amount?

Armies that are drilling automatically cost full maintenance, so it doesn’t make a difference.

The only affect maintenance has on drilling armies is that like other armies they do not reduce unrest at low maintenance.
