Does LAN MP require multiple CDs?

I bet it does, but since the manual doesn't mention it, I'd like to ask here.

It's the usual problem: they want to sell as many games as possible so CDs are required to stay in the drive, but it means I cannot just invite a friend over?

Btw.: I visited V-net yesterday night. just 2 persons there (one not responding and the other looking for a EU2 game). Why is noone using v-net?

No-one uses Vnet becacuse it has more downtime than uptime, so when Valknet finally is online no-one knows about it before it's too late.

No, LAN play needs no multiple CD's, I play at home with eldest son at we have a blast !!

HOI does not do a CD check at startup.

I tried it now and that it's possible to play multiplayer over LAN with just one CD is terrific! This is one point where I'll certainly praise Paradox!

With p1.02 you don't even need the CD in the drive to start. They removed their own copy-protection to get out the patch quickly.

I know, but out of respect for the product, I'd say anyone playing MP on LAN should have at least one CD.
