Does forming countries disable achievements?

When the new patch is live I want to try to get the two Swedish achievements in one go, but as a Norwegian I rather not play with the ugly flag and colour Can I form Scandinavia and still get the achievements?

Its only the starting TAG that matters. So if you want to form it from Sweden it doesnt disable the achievements.

Well it actually depends on the achievement.
One achievement which can't be obtained as Scadinavia is Norwegian Wood.
Sweden is not Overpowered can be obtained so it depends.

I guess the wiki needs to be updated in that regard.

At least the game files do not indicate that Norwegian Wood is impossible as Scandinavia. Only conditions are Ironman, 11.11.1444 startdate as Norway.

You're reading the game files wrong then. It's true that there's nothing else in the "possible" tag, but there is another reference to the tag NOR in the "happened" tag, which is why you can't do it when forming another nation.

Yeah youre right. I actually deleted the above post but apparently failed.
