I doubt it. It seems that even if you travel to a system with higher difficulty rating, that doesn't mean you will receive spawned missions from any faction other than independent at that higher level. You must work to build your reputation or you'll never be offered better missions, according to the text there.I doubt it. A good reputation with a faction does seem to give you better prices in the store when you are in a system they control. Outside of that, I'm not sure. I thought maybe reputation opened up more mission possibilities with that faction, but I might be mis-remembering that bit of info.
