Does Declaring War give BB?

I thought it didn't. The FAQ says it doesn't:

But a few folks have mentioned that it does. Which means that a) some very silly people assume that if it happens in EU it must happen in CK, or b) I'm a total moron.

You don't get BB for a DOW in CK

One of the cardinal rules I've always read, is: Don't DOW when IN the prospective enemy's realm. I've always assumed it'll give you BB or affect the war/peace score. So this thread got me to wondering. What does it do?

That is called a sneak-attack and that DOW then gives you 2BB.

So to correct my first statement, you can get BB from a DOW in CK

I knew there had to be some penalty, just wasn't sure. But I'll do the "Send army in and wait until just before my army arrives before declaring war" gambit tho. Cuts down on enemy reinforcements getting there too soon.
