You know, ironically CK would make a 1/2 decent facebook game...

Why does it have to have timeline restricted with any calendar - Knights of Honor didn't have it (infinite gameplay for 3 scenarios vaguely representing early-, high- and late midieval times) and i think they pulled it off quite well ! And i think that is at least one of the reasons it is not called "historical" but "fantasy" game - cuz there are no elves, dwarfes, orcs or trolls roaming around as one would expect from fantasy games !

The Crusader Kings of this forum have to suffer even more ...
To be honest I really think we can get to 25k. Looking at the other pages isn't entirely fair since we've haven't done concerted efforts to highlight their existance.

... Not taking much note of other pages, it seems the ones with more than a handful of fans are either games (that people know from FB), Charity/Support groups, celebrity groups or humorous groups (like "Can this cucumber get more fans than Ben Affleck").But we already have 674 fans within a day or two, and if we get that every day it will be 25.000 at about the time of Vicky2 release
I have joined Facebook today just to press the "I like this" button. This may be the biggest problem with that campaign: Most CK-fans are grown-ups or history-buffs, both of which are not the natural clientel of facebook... (no offense intended)
Wouldn't it make some sense to make a sister (poll) thread in this forum? That way you could get info on the support from the members themselves and compare.

I have this weird feeling that someone is printing FB accounts. Some of those unpictured accounts share similar handwriting when it comes to picking an username - his imagination is running dry.

Surely if you can make a hooch of fake facebook accounts it kinda makes this campaign a bit moot?
Although I have to admit, it would be absolutely hilarious if some guy made a program to make accounts and email addresses based on the name lists and dynasty lists of CK and then 'like this' the ck2 page.
Might get 25k then.

We've got a pretty good idea what the forumites feel regarding CK.
In the Ship Simulator Extremes forum there's a thread called "Is this CK2?"....
This is more about gauging the activity on Facebook.
Regarding Facebook accounts:
Multiple accounts are strictly prohibited by FB so I expect any fake one's to be closed down.
So our numbers will fluctuate a bit.
