I did as well.

But then again, some of them will be either deceitful, arbitrary, selfish or even weak willed. Some may even be flamboyant schemers, with a trail between accounts impossible to follow. Or willing to do anything as they're suffering from depression from a lack of CK2!I don't think that people who have signed the petition on this forum have also signed up at FB. CK-fans aren't like that, they are mostly honest people![]()

He has a very dry sense of humour. Going by that example anyway.It's sometimes difficult, because you never seem the joking type.

This. I say we burn down the world if we don't get Ck2!![]()
Looks like the trickle of "likes" are slowing down. I will be a sad panda if we can't make it to 25,000.
Personally, I think that Paradox has been a bit slack on this score. Where is the advertising? Why haven't we heard of this in the "major" games sites? Almost like it's being left to just simply Facebook to pass things on. But Facebook marketing needs some help, it doesn't just exist because you make a group (and I don't count the "get a million people to join and I'll name my baby ......" groups).
If Paradox is going to leave it to us (or Facebook), then we may have to make some effort to spread the news. Spread it to other gaming forums on the 'net, major gaming sites (I've only seen it on smaller strategy gaming sites) and the like. Maybe even on sites like the WoW forums (to give an example of forums that will give a LOT of exposure). Perhaps market it as a chance to show that social networking sites can be used to show developers what we want in terms of games.
This is a great opportunity, but I am getting the impression that the marketing for this has been dumped (intentionally or otherwise) squarely in our hands.
...
So, I believe we will most likely get our Crusader Kings 2, and even if we don't, we will get something quite close to it(In about 1.5-2 years, but that is to be expected from a game that's not even started yet
)
I more meant marketing the whole "get 25,000 fans and we will announce the game." Though perhaps "advertising" would be a better term to describe it.I guess you are misinterpreting this whole thing. It is not marketing. To market something, you would need a product or at least a plan first. Features to advertise. There are currently non. We are petitioning to have a plan.
