or 'F12' and type 'nofog'. It's a toggle so typing it again will turn fog back on.

Even with Fog of war off, you still can't examine stacks to see what is underneath the top unit. Also you can't click on the unit to see what actually makes it up. Is there anyway to be able to inspect all countries forces so you can check what the AI has actually built?

Check the "Cheat" FAQ in the FAQ forum. I think there's a 'control all units' cheat like in EU that might let you do that.

Thanks for the tip, any idea on how it works?

I did it, and got the message

fullcontrol
(CHEAT ON)You now have total control

But it doesn't seem to do anything? I tried selecting units from a different country, but no go. Is there something else i have to do, to toggle between which country i have control over?

You could always load the game as different countries to see what they have.

I tried that, but it didn't seem to work for the major countries. Playing as US, I tried loading Britain and SU, but their flags weren't available. Tried several times, then several more times after selecting another country first.

To switch to an already active country you have to start a new game with them and then load the save in-game.

Not sure how fullcontrol works since I haven't tried it yet. The equivalent in EU/EU2 tended to cause crashes if you tried to do certain things.

Or, from the main load screen, click on your savegame then right click on your flag to change it to a new one. I normally use your method though.

This should be available even with FOW on... I find it extremely frustrating not to be able to know if that stack in front of me is made up of 4 infantry and 4 militia (showing infantry) or 4 infantry and 4 Tiger tanks (showing infantry) - whatever the answer will greatly affect how I attack.

I also think it defeats the _beautiful_ tech tree to some degree. At least for me part of the charm lies in putting your new Panthers in use to beat those T-34/76 that kicked your ass just a month ago... right now I don't even know what the russkies have, for all I know it could be IS-3:s - or just as likely, T-27:s.

I want to know.
