Does anyone think you should still be able to call alliances if the allies are your vassal.
Like if as a king you marry your son to a duke's daughter, you should be able to ask the duke to join your war. Ie, he will join your war with his own forces and his vassals forces that you weren't able to raise.
This also makes more sense in cases like when you marry your son to a duke's only daughter. At this time, if the duke is even about +20 relation with you, you can pretty much fight with both armies. When your son inherits both your and the duke's places, you'll actually end up weaker army-wise.
