It's been a long time since I played this game and while reading on the forums I read that Administrative Efficiency effects POP needs which is something I never heard about before.

So my question is, in what case?

I played a game as Sweden and I watched the farmers of Malmö to see if their needs would Increase/Decrease depending on how the bureaucracy sliders was set but I could not see any difference.

Or it only effect when I have social reforms? or with certain pops? And is it by national or state Administrative Efficiency?

Thanks in advance for anyone who could enlighten me in this.

Administrative Efficiency effects taxation, so if you pops get taxed more they can get less needs so maybe the AE can effect it, but not directly.

The bureaucracy sliders don't count, it is the administrative EFFICIENCY that counts. You have to wait a long time for that to increase.

It kind of does, though indirectly. Low administrative efficiency causes anything purchased in that state to either cost more or require more goods (I forgot exactly which effect, though it's definitely one of those two). This includes forts, ports, railroads, factories, and pop needs. It also affects how easily pops change classes.

@SknerusMck, you're thinking of tax efficiency.

Yes and I kind of f..... this because they improve tariff efficiency, you are also right.
