Well if you're a student I gather you can get to Munich or something really cheaply by train. From there, either fly to Stockholm (I only paid about 240€ for Helsinki-Frankfurt return tickets last spring, or keep going by train through Denmark&Sweden I guess, although that'll take quite a bit of time. And not necessarily cheaper either (although I guess you could look into a few days'/1-week Interrail pass).

I'm a canadian studying in gottingen, so i think i'd just Strategically redeploy to Copenhagen , hop the sea connection to malmo and take a panzer to Stocholm. Wait... this is vicky. i guess i'd just take the train.

BTW. still way too hot? We've currently getting some weather from north (so from somewhere around Sweden) and temperatures are plummeting by 20°C!!

In Helsinki it's still 25 degrees Celsius here, but the forecasts say it's going to rain in the night and tomorrow is going to be less than 20 degrees. One more day and we would've matched the national record for length of a heat wave (I think 22 days in a row of 25 degrees or higher weather now). Of course, forecasts for sunday say 29 degrees again.

Crazy hot.
