Applicant must:

Have worked on at least one published title.
Speak English fluently as well as live/relocate to Stockholm, Sweden.
Be familiar and interested in the Paradox strategy games and the genre as a whole.
Be able to work in a team of programmers, designers and artists as well as work independently.
Our development language is C++, so we require extensive experience with that language.
Familiarity with MsDev6.0 and Sourcesafe is a major merit bonus.

In general most educated Swedes speak English "sufficiently" fluidly, and I assume this applies to Paradox as well. Also, if they for some ungodly reason required a programmer to speak Swedish, wouldn't they list that in the job description? I think it is enough if you're willing to learn Swedish as you go along, as you'd probably find yourself enjoy non-work more if you speak it like with any society of a different language.

Well I have 3 software pieces I wrote that my company is selling nationwide... Only one got 'published' in the traditional sense, with a box and a manual and all that... and its the one I'm least proud of, all it does is handle a microfilm scanner and then print/email/save the scanned images. For libraries, walk-up usage, touchscreens... I'll post a link sometime when I'm more in the mood to get made fun of

Hmmm... I wonder this all means. Johan used to be the "lead programmer" for Paradox games. Now, he is "Producer" - at least concerning Diplomacy. I think Paradox is getting ready for Europa Universalis III.
