One problem with extending EU3's timeline much more is that it starts running into periods that deserve their own games; what year does CK currently end? Victoria starts in 1836 (and whatever eventually replaces it could start earlier).
7.Allow release of colonial vassals that give the overlord triggered economic modifiers(merchants, efficiency, tax income, etc.) so the colony can have an ai controlled militia. Think seven years war where the colonies had separate armies from Britain.
What I want from new expansion is mostly interface optimisation. Right now it's tuned for plain vanilla, but if we have "some" complex mod with dozens-hundreds modifers applied at a time and dozens of decisions available - it becomes very hard to understand what we have and what we can.
Also, please please introduce some type of limited-type or colonial-only wars, ala Victoria.

Who knew I could agree with Canadians ? He never spoke the truth betterAlso POPS would be great! It does not have to be as complex as Victoria. They could autopromote when the conditions are right for example.
More provinces. Like fan favorites Isle of Mann and the Channel Islands.
And more countries, woohoooo!
Heheh before the Channel Islands, I would say to get a correct depiction of the Caribbeans beforehand.
Do you have any examples?Well that, too. Basically, more provinces everywhere.
I'd like to see more feudal revolters in Europe for a 1399 start. Countries like Cornwall and Northumberland; duchies and the like that had only recently (relatively) been fully incorporated into the main country.
Do you have any examples?
Both Cornwall and Northumberland are available as revolters.
This is similar to an idea that I've conceptualized and presented below...
I would like to see the ability to release colonies as a "Dominion".
And obviously, there should be major revenue and trading incentives, along with a reduction in revolt risk for granting autonomy by way of establishing a Dominion.
Thoughts?
Sounds just like a mod I played once...Well that, too. Basically, more provinces everywhere.

perhaps paradox can take a good look at the mods and incorparate some of the better ideas, lets start with opening up those areas that are currently terra incoginto for example and have a full world map
