I use about half of those. Also, I found a really good (possibly unique) reason to sell ships - my Caribbean Ming colony was being attacked by a Portugese colony over a land claim on Hispaniola. I didn't have the military/navy to take Portugal head on in the Atlantic, so I couldn't intervene directly, so I was subsidising my colonial nation instead. They were building troops on different islands, and they didn't have the transports to move them around, as they'd lost a naval battle. So... I had 12 cogs sitting around. I sold them to my CN for 0 ducats. Made the difference in their war :D

Do the ships instantly teleport there, or did they have to move them across the Pacific and around South America?

1. Not yet, but I can see myself doing it.
2. Used once. They're a little too late-game for widespread use as you're probably a snowballing giant by the time they're an option. Nice touch though, will be nicer if they improve the flag construction.
3. Haven't used it yet, tend to avoid vassals.
4. Haven't had the opportunity to.
5. Not yet.
6. Always.

9. I've made some use of it.
10. Not yet.

Do the ships instantly teleport there, or did they have to move them across the Pacific and around South America?

If I remember correctly, you can't sell a fleet that is currently out of their supply range... or something like that.

1) Selling ships to someone -
Haven't used it yet, though I have to say I haven't played a game where the navy was that important yet.

2) Creating a client state -
Haven't used this either, because i havent reached diplo tech lvl 22 since 1.8.

3) Setting a vassal's war assistance mode -
Always, really usefull in a war.

4) DoW in support for rebels
Have used this option sometimes. It can be useful when you want to declare war on someone but you can't lay claim on any cores, because of the adjucant province is his capital. Also this is usefull when you see a rebellion in a country and you want t o declare war but dont have any claims on the cores yet.

5) Sortie from sieges -
Didn't encounter a time when i could use it. Maybe when i have a 4-5k garrison I will use it.

6) Mothballing fleets -
Yup always.

7) Army template -
Never used it. Don't see the point in using this one (maybe when you got your whole army annihilated?

8) Province siege objective for allies -
Always, one of the best new features.

9) Swapping occupation -
Always, also one of the best new features.

10) Designating as marches -
Nope, Most of the time I want to diplo-annex my vassals

1.) Nope
2.) Not yet at DIP 22, but as the USA, it's pretty much useless to me.
3.) Not yet
4.) Done it. Useful way to get a CB or stop a neighbor that you don't want to westernize from doing so.
5.) All the time. Nice for stopping annoying AI ministacks or holding a stack still to hit it with a real army.
6.) Never used it
7.) Haven't used army templates, but I make liberal use of fleet templates.
8.) Not really. Doesn't seem to work well enough, anyway.
9.) Quite often.
10.) Nope, but again, I'm the USA, so I don't get much from it compared to what a European nation would get.

Do the ships instantly teleport there, or did they have to move them across the Pacific and around South America?

Conveniently, the cogs were the ones I'd used to ferry my escort garrisons from my Central America colonies (That was how I crossed - by settling adjacent land provinces on different oceans). I'd ferried them around South America myself earlier. The ships didn't teleport when they were sold.

For the most part that's how I envisage the sell ships feature will be used - if you're supporting another country in a war but would rather not declare hostility with the other party, it gives you an additional way to contribute to the war effort, other than just subsidies or gifts.

If you click on the province, there'll be a box that says "No Objective." Click on it, and you can set an objective.
I see, thanks! Never noticed this, am checking it out once I get home. How closely does the vassal follow these objectives? One thing I've noticed is that vassals will sometimes detach their whole stack from a siege regardless of siege progress and throw themselves into a nearby battle I am clearly winning.

1) Never
2) Sometimes, although I see no real reason for them with switching occupancy
3) Rarely, quite useful for nations that start with quite strong vassals attached to them (Ayutthaya)
4) Never ever
5) Rarely
6) Never, I don't like them ships
7) Always, so useful
8) What?
9) So awesome
10) Never, I don't see any use for marches

I'm not sure, since I haven't used it yet...it may not be too useful, since it seems that your AI allies will always transfer occupation to the warleader (you) unless they have a claim/core.

1) Selling ships to someone:
I've only played the Commonwealth and Yeren so far in AoW, so I've never really had a fleet big enough to justify selling off excess to my allies/vassals. I do think it's useful though.

2) Creating a client state:
I was super excited for this feature when it was announced, but the hideously undetailed flag creator and the permanent, rebel-coloured European pikemen sprites mean I can't stomach making one.

3) Setting a vassal's war assistance mode:
I'm not sure how much effect this has, but I do fiddle with it to make sure my vassals aren't charging around willy-nilly and getting stackwiped.

4) DoW in support for rebels:
I WANT to use this, but I either keep forgetting it exists or the rebels I support never spawn.

5) Sortie from sieges:
So far, I've only used this to speed up the progress of some Orthodox rebels so they could convert me faster. I can see it being handy though, especially on high fort level

6) Mothballing fleets:
This is godsend, finally I can keep large fleets without worrying about bankrupting myself at peace!

7) Army template:
A useful feature, but again I keep forgetting it exists :p

8) Province siege objective for allies:
I've used it a couple of times, but never really bothered checking to see if they followed the commands.

9) Swapping occupation:
I have no idea how I played EUIV before this was available. An absolutely great feature.

10) Designating as marches:
I've always been a fan of keeping some vassals around, and now with this they can be marginally less useless in wars!

10) yes, I've march fed before in directions I don't have large exspansion plans in. the 200 point malus hurts very much but as Muscovy faced with the new more powerful PLC and a Golden Horde allied with the Ottomans, Pskov and Ryazan made surprisingly good backup.

1) yes, after integrating vassals

Just realized that this is the perfect reason to sell ships. After annexing/integrating, I'm almost always above my naval force limit and I just start deleting random ships everywhere, but could have sold them to a vassal or ally instead. Eureka!

Other than that, seems specifically to be a multiplayer feature.

Also, I didn't know that client states did not take a diplo slot. This makes them a bit more worth trying.

7) Army template -
Never used it. Don't see the point in using this one (maybe when you got your whole army annihilated?
It's for when you're big and want to either rebuild your army or you want to greatly increase your current army.
If you rarely play past 1600 you'll probably not need it as much.

Wait, client states don't take diplo slots?! Time to make all of Europe into client states...you're limited to 10, right? And can you make them Marches?
