When embracing a faction I get opinion modifiers with every faction. The tooltip promises that it will end in 10 years, but it never ends. Is there something I missed or is it a bug?
Do the faction buff/debuff ever ends?

Pretty sure I remember the tool tip is saying 240 months, so that 20 years, but I have never seen it tick down, which is indeed odd, but didn't play that game for 20 year after doing it, so don't know if it is just a display bug or it is actually not counting down, as encountered some troop transport related bug that basically left me with 1 single transport, while the rest went into an other dimension, but I still had to pay their upkeep.
It is a bug. Never embrace a faction unless you want to live with a permanent happiness malus.
