I read somewhere that when selecting your next marriage, the statecraft traits do not pass on to the kids. i.e. if you go for stewardship the kids won't get it.
anyone know?
anyone know?
Children get "occupation" traits, like Midas Touched or Grey Eminence, based on their teacher. It doesn't have anything to do with their parents.
right but if if a non noble has a statecraft of 20- does it get discounted if the family is non noble?
no i read somewhere if you are not part of a great house, the state related stats like stewardship don't pass on. i.e. prevents people from marrying commoners just to get good statsright but if if a non noble has a statecraft of 20- does it get discounted if the family is non noble?
say what? really? i thought each of the stats combines in there and your kids make get a mix of all our some. oh wow ive been playing wrong if this is true.Stewardship, Martial, etc are not passed on through marriage at all. Only congenital traits (slow, attractive, etc) are.
There must be something making the reported 20 stat babies. But I'm not sure what.
I've seen kids born with 5-7 stats in all categories, while they're usually born with 0-3.
