Do resources of the provinces (especially for colonial provinces) change during the game? I noticed that some provinces what produced grain or some other cheap resources in 1836 started to produce oil or precious metals around 1910. I checked also the the file "provinces" in 'db' folder and for some provinces there were several recources marked. Are there any events what change recourses of the province or it just happens and depends on scenario you are playing?

From what I know all resource changes are strictly controlled via events. There is no random event for resource change if you asking about that. Always the same provinces are affected with always the same change (depending on a scenario).
