Due to my current lack of Chrome, I've started to build Modern tanks as my CF count goes up; do my Mdm. 3s and/or Heavy 2s convert up to Modern's ?
Or all varients of Moderns hard built ??

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
You'll also have to manually adjust your division template, since modern tanks aren't an upgrade for mediums or heavies. If you don't build modern tank templates, your tank divisions won't use all the modern tanks you're building.
So ye want/need Modern "Guards XXs";
1] Build up Modern base tanks to a divisional (XX) level, at 40/BN ye'll need 80+ to keep in the field to stay combat ready ;
until the other Modern templates (SPG, SPAA) finish ... and ye begin to build those, yer Mdm. 3s will have to take up the slack .
2] Build up yer varients (SPAA, SPG) to BN levels, and swap out old BNs of Mdm.s BY TYPES {2 BNs of SPAAs, or 4 BNs of SPGs} to Moderns; leftovers go back to Mdm. XXs ... to become the SHAFT of yer SPEARHEAD .
3] When yer ready (or need to), TURN THEM LOOSE !!

A battalion of modern tank arrive early is more than a division later! Just send your newest tank from the production line to the front! They will boost the armor level of the whole tank division.
