I'm never brave enough to face the league war. I always stay out of it. Also computer starts to lag when it happens.it was a fun experience!
Took me just 10 years to almost recover from it.

Yeah, it's costly and dangerous.I'm never brave enough to face the league war. I always stay out of it. Also computer starts to lag when it happens.
I just don't care that much about which religion is dominant unless I'm playing an elector in which case you can switch anyway. I know you can use it to snag lots of land but I find I can do that anyway whilst everyone else is distracted by the league war. Sometimes you can even take free cities without having to fight the Emperor.Yeah, it's costly and dangerous.
There was another thread where we all admired it, 'My Communist Saxony'.I can't believe nobody mentioned your accurate recreation of the "DDR" border
The bona fide 30 Years War experience.I am losing!!! My entire army got stackwiped and I have no manpower, have to rely on mercs. My allies aren't doing good either![]()
My computer starts to lag a lot. I assume that happened back then too because so many armies were moving around that people used all their brainpower keeping track of what was going on and as a result had to do everything in slow motion. The bona fide 30 Years War experience.
It reminds me of an old graphic bug: when Austrian armies got defeated and had to retreat all across the map, the sprites of their units formed a massive swirling mess, blocking the screen no matter how much you zoom out.My computer starts to lag a lot. I assume that happened back then too because so many armies were moving around that people used all their brainpower keeping track of what was going on and as a result had to do everything in slow motion.
One time I left a map mod on after an update. Seas were blood red and all the countries were pitch black. EU4: Welcome to Hell Edition. It reminds me of an old graphic bug
Or the consequances of Leviathan hotfix 1.31.1: a totally empty map. Guess everyone moved on Mars in fear of Gothic Invasion. One time I left a map mod on after an update. Seas were blood red and all the countries were pitch black. EU4: Welcome to Hell Edition.
One time I loaded a save from a very early version of the game on a newer version and lots of random provinces were uncolonised. Surprisingly I could actually load and play as countries but the world was a bit broken.Or the consequances of Leviathan hotfix 1.31.1: a totally empty map. The same problem. My campaign is around 1650 now and I have those "long ticks" when about once in 1-2 months a certain tick takes seconds to calculate and the game freezes for those seconds. Even though I much improved the performance of the game and it was very smooth until mid-17th centuryMy computer starts to lag a lot. I assume that happened back then too because so many armies were moving around that people used all their brainpower keeping track of what was going on and as a result had to do everything in slow motion.
