Do Hearts of Iron Anthology have a problem with Vista?

As the title says, does it?
I don't know if there are different versions so i must mention that this is PC DVD.
Whenever i put the cd in the computer the menu which lets me pick a game. If I click on any of these a little message pops up telling me it has stopped working and that it tries to solve it. Then it quits and throws me to desktop.
Please, please help me. I've heard nothing but good from this game and I wish it would work.

Question - were you able to install the game ok, and are just having trouble getting it to run (play the game)? Or is it that you cannot get it installed?

It should install and run ok on Vista. You would need admin rights in Vista to install it properly and perhaps to run it as well.

This is a known issue with the HOI2 Anthology and the Installer and Vista.

HOI2 works fine on Vista. In order to install navigate to the folder on the DVD where the game resides and run the installer from there.

Yup that did the trick, will now loose myself in the brilliance that is HOI(I hope).
