Pottering along in a Ryukyu game which started as a "Let's see exactly how bad it could be" (No real intent of a WC, I would be hard-pressed to do a WC with my ongoing Spain game and I got a big empire there) which then became a "Hot damn, people are leaving me alone. Time to colonise.... TO AMERICA" (Because the thought of a Japanese OPM beating Spain/Portugal there made me LOL. Hard.).
And then I get a mission to colonise Shiribeshi... I think, OK fair enough I got this... and then noticed it's right above Japan. Like, has a land-bridge to Fujiwara territory right above. Yeeaaah... mebe not.
If I decide to throw this island section into my mad colonising frenzy, is there a chance the AI will decide to enact that damn CB which it seems every seafaring nation in the area has?
Side note, it's nearly 1500... and no-one else has colonised. Seriously. Spain and Portugal seem to be content to fight over North Africa and France actually looks like France. Might I actually beat Spain to the America's after all? (Big killer at the moment is Guam -> Hawaii... I've found it, barely, but all that open ocean -_-)
