Seriously, this is a question which needs an answer. Let me elaborate, of the nine High Kings of High Rock in my game, SIX of them at one point was shagging their daughters/aunts/mothers and in one situation their granddaughter. Is this incest a thing in Breton games, or is it just my luck that my characters share the definition of "family" bonding with House Targaryen?

If I remember correctly, Nova set it up so Hedonist + Lustful can result in these kinds of shenanigans.

While that's a nice thought, I kinda wish it was a bit more rare so it would actually be unusual when it happens. :p Incest is the vampires of modern EK, in my experience anyway.

Yes and no. I did originally set it up that way, but vanilla CK2 ended up using code that was so similar that I ended up just reverting it to vanilla. The only EK-made changes were checks to fertility and culture for pregnancy to make sure abominations did not pop up.

Abomination trait is a failsafe incase the normal pregnancy/fertility system fails, its given on_birth to a child that is born from a coupling that is supposed to be infertile. Because the pregnancy/fertility system now work extremely well, it is a rarely (if ever) triggered failsafe. They were a lot more common in earlier versions of EK.

ah. so it only happens if one/both parents fertility is less than 0? no chance of a Grey Prince scenario?

It only happens for children of couplings that should NOT be able to produce children. Mainly beast races (Khajiit, Argonian) and non-beast races. Orsimer are fertile with other men/mer races, so a Grey Prince can most certainly happen.

Well, not really lore-accurate for Elder Scrolls since homosexuality was not taboo like it is in our world.
