So my question is, is anyone scared that the game will be full of DLCs just like in EU4 and CK2? Not saying they're bad and I know you don't HAVE to buy them (I sure as hell will).

Well I suppose you're right, no one can be scared of chocolate but what I meant was that some people are scared the game will "have less stuff" so the developers can sell "that missing stuff" in DLCs. I don't agree with this at all seeing how Paradox doesn't really do this; they just add other stuff to an already awesome and completed game.I do not see how anyone can be "scared" of future DLCs. It's like being scared of chocolate, just don't buy them. Paradox should leave a 1.0 version of the game in the beta tab, and for those that the idea of the game evolving over time is anathema, they should play HoI4 version 1.0.
I invite comparison of CK2 and EU4 to Victoria 2 and HoI3, which had much less DLC. EU4 and CK2 are much richer games because of the post-release DLC sold, which funded continued development.
Thats often true with other studios like CA did that for total war where they intentionally leave some stuff out and give you Sparta only as day one DLC for example or with preordering even though Sparta is a favorite players choice. But so far I think PDX does not do something like removing features or factions to sell them as day one DLC or preorder bonus.Well I suppose you're right, no one can be scared of chocolate but what I meant was that some people are scared the game will "have less stuff" so the developers can sell "that missing stuff" in DLCs. I was just curious if someone is actually worried of it not becoming a 100% game but a 80% finished game with 20% DLCs.
