DLC Not Showing up?

I'm currently having trouble. I bought the DLC through PC game pass. When I boot up the game i ensure that the DLC is enabled but I'm not seeing the Royal Court. I'm playing as a King of Scotland in a new game in 1066.

Also tried a turn of and back on and a reinstall

Any other ideas?

Last week i bought a month of Xbox Game Pass because i wanted to play CK3 again, i don't own it.
I have the CK3 Base game via game pass.
I installed the game and then bought the Expansion Pack via the xbox launcher on PC.
I do not get the contents ingame.
I linked my microsoft account to paradox via the paradox website.

Yet i have no games and no orders on the Paradox website, i can't confirm that Paradox knows i own the DLC (as i said i bought it via xbox launcher).
When i am in the xbox launcher, it says "owned" for the DLC and "ready for use - no installation needed".

But once i am ingame, i can't use the varangian adventure (i spent a whole weekend trying to figure out what i was doing wrong, checked the conditions on the wiki, everything). I basically tried to replicate something i saw in a video, so i know it "should" work!...

I am really frustrated, i bought the xbox game pass to play CK3, bought the expansion pack without owning the base game for 28 Euro or sthg., now i still can't play what i want? Do i need to buy the base game? Whats the game pass for then?
I spent my whole weekend trying to figure out why the adventure does not work for me while knowing it should work..
It is really annoying, please help!

I have them linked and still no joy. I'd say I'm missing something really obvious.

i think we did everything correct, i mean the game is offered via XBOX launcher, we should be able to access the DLC when starting the game.
I think it is some cloud / sync error between microsoft and paradox.

Like when you launch CK3 from Xbox Launcher, it launches the Paradox launcher FIRST (where you can edit the playsets and mods) and then you have to launch the game again.

When i am inside xbox launcher, it says "DLC owned" for the expansion pack, when i start the game and i am inside the Paradox Launcher, it wants me to buy the spanish expansion. Like WTF i own that already. Not even as a service, i BOUGHT the whole expansion pack.

I think the sync from xbox to paradox is f***** so paradox thinks we do not own any DLC.

HAHA I only saw the 1st paragraph of you message and thought you had gotten it sorted via linking the accounts.

I had to download all the extras ones. I thought I was playing it but was a Tribal King of Ireland. So was trying to turn Feudal. It was only then I realized I wasn't even playing the DLC.

Like in the launcher it tells me that i have them enabled just no joy in the game.

So i downloaded the official Paradox Launcher just now.
Like the proper one, not the paradox launcher frame that comes from the XBOX launcher.
Ofc it says i do not own any games at all (since it is in the game pass) but also does not show my owned expansions pack.
When i open CK3 via the xbox launcher i still have only the playset option and not your DLC option.

How can we get different results via the same thing?

Also anyone official here to enlighten us? It is really annoying, i am that short of just refunding everything and forgetting about my xbox / paradox adventures...

Have you installed on the game pass app. Maybe it only shows up after you download one.

Yes ofc i installed it via the games pass app.
Don't mind the german, "Im Besitz" = "Owned"
As soon as i press "play" on the game pass app and the paradox launcher opens, the shenanigans start.
Like why can't i see my DLCs in the launcher like you do?
Why are they shown as "owned" but ingame not a single mention of anything owned?

All this different launchers different providers stuff sucks so hard
At first i was like, oh cool, let's try again, 10 Bucks for a month of CK3.
"Oh sad, can't play the DLCs, they are not included"
*Proceeds to buy DLC pack*

HOW am i supposed to know i am buying from xbox? i thought everything was good and i did the proper thing.
No way of knowing Microsoft does not tell Paradox of my little purchase.

I bet if i continued to buy the base game aswell everything would work magically.
But then i would have wasted the 10€ on the pass. What's the pass for anyway? To get me into a game? I liked it! Oh, no DLC included? Fair enough, take this money.
DLC bought - "JK we won't let you play your purchase, hehe. Basically we don't even know you purchased it, go blame microsoft."

i really think either Paradox or Microsoft or both are confused about the whole "buying DLCs for a game that is part of the game pass and not owned as a whole, in your library" and syncing is bugged or something

It should be installed not owned. See my first one the expansion pack says owned. I had to go into each other DLC and manually download them.

Check out what i just noticed!
After my purchase i checked for the expansions pack - it said "ready for ingame use - no download required"
Now after i watched your screenshots i found out i DO have to install them all seperately.
Blame goes to microsoft here, not Paradox, but what the heck is this? Microsoft uses Confusion - it is very effective.

Let's see if it works after i installed them all, but according to you, it won't change a thing.
I get back to you in a minute!

Works for me now, sorry bro.
Sorry for my tilted rants @Everyone who read them.
Still a maximum confusion, really... saying "ready for ingame use - no download required" but when you click the single addons you have to manually install them all, i was so sure i checked all of this...

Looks the same as yours now and i just continued my game from before and it applied all the DLCs to it.
Still no clue why it does not work for you...

The Royal Court is not out for Xbox, nor is Northern Lords pack....sometime after they get back from Summer Holiday
