Tell me what are the DLC's that you would definetly buy for this game , meaning their idea and features.

For me I wish they make a DLC about warfare , a total revamp and adding tons of new features like for example a scorched earth tactic similar to EU4 , so that smaller nations can stand a chance against larger massive empires.

Alos adding a supply lines system with the ability to attack those lines and force some additional attrition upon the enemy , and those features can also work on the player in order to balance the game a little bit. so that players would think twice and strategically before declaring war even upon the smallest of foes.

- A more fleshed out Era-system, that allows very decentralized feudal reams (e.g. France) to evolve to a more centralized (more land held directly by the king; higher limit on duchy titles and higher demesne limit) state, or vice versa (e.g. Holy Roman Empire, where the centralization took place on the level of the territorial princes). This could be achieved by fleshing out the technology and government systems, and tie-ing the two more closely together.

- Inter-realm alliances. For example: the count of Flanders should be allowed to ally the Duke of Brabant and even call this ally (while in another realm) to a arms. This could be allowed/disallowed based on the level of centralization of his realm. (Also see my original proposal for CK2 here.)

- EDIT: Physical character location. This one should be a free update, but it would be nice to see a better focus on characters' physical location. No more teleporting across half of Europe. In CK2 there always was a disconnect between the characters and the map that represented the physical world they lived in. Also see this thread.

- More fleshed out court events and systems. Where you can maybe set the salary for your courtiers. Have performances from bards and jesters, etc...
- Inventory system! Wouldn't it be cool that you would finally be able to see that level 4 crown that you've let the smith make in 3D???

I'm assuming big expansions.

DLC: Expanded content for city states, including political game with neighbouring powers and fleets.
Update: Expanded contracts that allow a larger spectrum between proper feudalism and similar systems, allowing each state to change dynamically from or toward feudalism.

DLC: Expanded content for the steppes, including nomadic alliances mechanics, where everything from religion to marriages and military power works a bit differently. Nomads also have a different "presence" on the map.
Update: New ethinicites all over the map, and new religion mechanics that allow minority religions and cultures in each county (works great to represent the diversity within nomadic hordes, but opens new opportunities in other parts of the world as well).

DLC: Libraries and artifacts. But unlike CK2, this time it's only about the really rare stuff (so no "common swords", every ruler is able to afford that stuff...). Additionally and over the course of the game, each dynasty will build a dynastic library. It would work like the Legacy, but instead you'd build a library and fill it with books. Books can work in different ways: stat boosts, but also by replacing a specific trait when it's needed in an event. They can also open new opportunities by spending lifestyle points in reading them instead of spending them in unlocking lifestyles, like unlocking new traits or providing powerful boons. Artifacts work in a similar way - they don't just provide basic stats, they also alter the way you play with them. But people expect certain things from someone wearing a proud and fancy crown, so expect to get some stress if you don't behave like people expect your character to do. Artifacts are tied to characters and not dynasties.
Update: Some lifestyles stuff?

DLC (or stand-alone): Tales of the Summer Court - a bit like the world randomizer of CK2, but with fantasy content. The map will be filled with appropriately medieval-themed fantasy races - so no orcs and goblins, but Irish Sidhe and Fomorians, german kobolds, djinns, nordic elves and giants etc. The base game mechanics are exactly the same, but with a different skin.
Free update:?

Or, just take all the innovations of CK2 like Iron Century start date, items, horse lords stuff, and implement it from the start, or at the very least as FLC. Because we do not want a 1 step forward, 2 step backwards mentality :)

I would love to see RPG themed stuff, lots of events, stories, secret orders and societies, character interactions, trading, some Ars Magica style magic system.
Also more variety in character portraits, more dark themed rendering, especially the skin shaders, not this cartoon style.

I was as much stuff as possible that’s not focused on expansion. I think basically every expansion will have a focus on the character/RPG elements, so that’s good, but I’d like to see an expansion of kingdom management. More buildings, trade etc.

Considering what has been mentioned by the devs, and that some aspects from CK2 were not included since they want to rework them. My vote will go for the following ones, due to their relevance and historical impact on the period:
1- Eastern Roman/Byzantine Overhaul: A unique system for imperial dynamics, administration and byzantine flavor.
2- Nomads/Horse Lords
3- Republics/City States (personally I was really happy with how it worked on CK2, but any overhaul would be welcomed)

DLC what makes combat system actually decent.

I wanna see DLC which concentrated on internal affairs, espionage/counterespionage, more flexible diplomacy. Yes, hooks and secret good but it's not enough... Examples:
Professional assassins. It can cost good amount of money varied on character rank, success rate depending on character. If you poor or not in haste - plot, but if you rich and want to vapor some bothering raider - why not?
More ways to destabilize blobs. For example, finance factions (but first you should know about them), establish heathens religious cults (religious revolts - not only heretics vs parental, but christian vs pagans etc), or even convert ruler to your religion (if you are friends and you have enough learning and intrigue), finding commanders and even retinues, which ready to betray they liege (as I remember, even in old Knights of Honor was such mechanic). Even swaying character player or AI can sometimes get an event "Send poisoned present".
Than internal affairs. Once again - blobs are stable - not good. More headache for steamrollers. Unrest modifiers on imperial outskirts (the far from capital the stronger unrest), foreign spies (yes, AI can destabilize you too).
Diplomacy. White peace is too straightforward and hardcoded. I'm winning, but exhausted. If I ask for white peace, I'm punished. But why I can't demand stop war with my conditions - "I don't need your county and prestige just give me 100 gold". Than make title system more flexible. Count can't vassalise count - WTF? You wanna dance? Beat me at first than try to revoke my tit if you want that juicy county.
Player can not give fuck for their relatives in jail. Not right - there should be hit in prestige. And why I can only demand ransom? Give me county, if you want to see your son again, dear emperor.
You can form alliance through whole world, accept war demand and do nothing. If you contribute 0% in war first time - hit on prestige. Second time - break alliance with not truthworthy trait. But on second hand you can smooth thing contributing money not troops, or just send some troops in automode.
Let's make things a little spicy. Can I ask for feast not only my vassals but neighbourghs? Why not? Good for relationships. Or...Why not poison him, or kill, or just imprison. Of course - it's auto declaring war on your, let see how good your regent is and opinion malus from others but...Who cares?

Personally, I would have to buy a new computer if the game map gets that big.

Logically ... yeah, cutting the map off at the Congo rainforest and Cape of Good Hope sure makes African gameplay more interesting (because BIG MAP), though I'm not that sure about how welcome players might be to that. I mean ... despite Crusader Kings being a relic name of the first game, playing for 700 yrs without even feeling the effects of a Crusade (say, Zimbabwe) still seems a strange thing to do in Crusader Kings 3.

And of course, something that would be a DLC-integrated free patch:

ADOPTION MECHANICS!

But is making a free start date from CK II into a paid DLC start date for CK III a good idea? It seems a bit unfair in a sense, although I respect the fact that it would be a big undertaking.

Starting dates in ck2 were a bit shaky , the game would be a mess after a while in any other date than 1066 or earlier (at least that was my experience) , so a well done starting date that is very well pollished warrents a paymen in my opinion , instead of a free starting date that would mess up the game at it's end.
