DLC for MAC users

Hi,

after the first two patches have reached, I'm still waiting for a possibility for MAC user to buy the DLC.

I know there is a workaround - start the game on a windows PC - buy the DLC in the ingame shop and use it on the MAC - but thats not what I would like to do.

The answer I got so far was that the DLC will be available in the Steam Shop - but nothing happend. As there are missing so many objects from the first part I assume you will sooner or later start to deliver more objects (Buildings, vehicles, etc.) as DLC's and it would be shame for CO if MAC users where left where they are - with no direct option to get that stuff.

Will this be fixed? Will there be an option for MAC user to spend their money? Is it really that difficult to add the shop button to the main interface?

I too am interested in finding this out. I played the game for a bit, but the lack of vehicle variety made me eventually lose interest - a shame really. A heads up as to when we might be able to get this content directly would be nice.

First of all, let's make sure you don't have the bonus content: It is listed here: http://citiesinmotion2.wikispaces.com/DLC
Where did you made pre-purchase? Is it on Steam or somewhere else? You should have got 2 CD keys. One for the game and one for the DLC.

Any updates on this? I did not preorder and would be happy to toss my money at CO/Paradox for the content, I just need to be able to buy it. As it stands there is no way to do so with the Mac version.

There isn't a separate key for the DLC, it doesn't show up anywhere in the Steam Mac client. The only way I've seen that you can confirm it's present on Macs (since there's still no in-game store, and no Steam product for it, GRRRRR!) is to check what vehicles are available in-game.

Check for the availability of the "Stern-Berger Majora" bus and the "Prospecta Royal" (M & L versions) trams in-game. If you have them available, you have the DLC enabled correctly.

Now that the Bus Mania DLC is available for Mac users directly from Steam and via Amazon, I'd really like to see the same thing happen with the pre-order DLC.

But the strange thing is that they have also released a tram pack and a landmark but they are only available in the in-game shop. Too bad for us Mac users.

We are working on this as fast as we can, the problem is that the backend for the store didn't support Mac when CIM2 was released. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience.

We do care about Mac-users and try to get this sorted as soon as possible!
