DLC Crashing Game

Alrighto. I bought the Republic, Legacy and a few of the Graphic Pack DLC's off Steam. I already have Sword & Sunset DLC's. Before I even downloaded the DLC, I validated my install with Steam.

First time I booted it up, it crashed during the loading. On second boot up, on the menu I experience severe lag, and I tried booting up a game as a Republic, only to have the thing lag even more and crash eventually just by trying to click on any button.

I don't know why this is happening really. Performance wise, I had absolutely no issues before I installed these DLC's, and I even tried decreasing my settings and boosting my performance by disabling trees, but the same issue still occurs. I have no Mods, and I even have no saves in my folder entirely.

Any help?

NOPE. Scratch that too. Still having the issue. Can boot up the game, but it starts pausing up when I'm playing a Republic and eventually crashes. Any help?

I'm still having issues, all around now. Even on the menu, selecting a character, the game is crashing. What is up with this?

Not sure, there's no known problem like that with the Republic DLC. There is a crash bug in 1.092 that happens far more often with republics (if a ruler with a retinue dies without any heirs), but that cannot cause a crash at loading time.

What version and checksum show on the main game menu? Does it still happen if you uncheck the DLCs in the Launcher?

As a start try running the Steam option to Verify Game Cache Files.
