dlc compatibility

how will dlc compatibility be in the game? for example i have extreme edition with stars and crescent dlc( which adds new events)
can i play who dont have it? because i'm thinking that these new events changes checksum.
if this is the case there will be thousands of different checksum combinations after different event dlcs released.

All DLC Paradox releases should be compatible with anyone that does NOT have the DLC.

The events are already included in your game. Whether you can use them is by purchase (or changing a single line of code).

Yes, so don't change that line just to get the content 'for free', 'cause that'll just force the devs to limit who you can multiplay with and I will yell "This is why we can't have nice things."
