DLC: Age-Specific Portraits

I'd like to suggest that, at some point, the art guys make some additional portraits for different ages. In particular, I'm thinking:

- Infant (say, under 4 or so, all look identical within given cultural portrait group, just like current child portraits do now)
- Child (5-10? current child portrait)
- Youth (11-17, this would be where characters would start to look different)
- Adult (18-40ish, current adult portrait)
- Middle Age (40ish-60ish)
- Elderly (60ish-death, current old portrait)

You know us, we love our portraits. I don't know if it'd be a pain to do these for each portrait pack, but you could honestly get away with charging us more if it is (shh, don't tell the other players I said that).

Oh, and if you really wanted to wow us, have the child portraits look different.

I don't know why you want to adjust the ages of the older portraits but I agree with you about the need for youth and infant portraits.

Infant portraits can just be a baby wrapped up in cot with the correct skin color. That's about 4-5 portraits max.

I'd really like to see a different portrait when the child reaches the age when they can be educated. It would really help finding kids that need educators versus ones that can't be educated yet.

I'd like to see a different portrait on older children, yes. As for adults, a lot changes between 18 and 40, and then 40 and 60. I like the current setup, where you usually see a different portrait around 30-35 years, then 50, then perhaps one or two stages. I wouldn't like to see 18 to 40, and then 40 to 60 use the same pic.

You see a change around 30? Besides the odds of getting a scar by then, or changing hat/beard, I haven't noticed anything like that.

If you go into character creator all the changes are there. I believe it goes children, young adult,middle aged, then old.

The differences between adult and middle aged are pretty subtle but beards and hair tend to get slightly longer.

I think the face does become more serious in general, more 'thirtyish', but not in all cases.

I'd like to see some receding hair and the first sprinkles of grey before officially going grey at 50, too. (Or a more gradual process with more and more grey being added or hair removed from 45 to 55.)
