DL/Launch question

I haven't played any Paradox games. Surviving Mars is my first. I just received the my pre-order key but cannot DL the game from the Paradox launcher yet. Do I have to wait until 6:00 CET to be able to DL the game? I was hoping to have it installed prior to the actual launch.

Also, I'd rather not use Steam. I'd prefer to just launch straight from the Paradox launcher.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Yes you need to wait till launch time to DL the game.

Thanks for the quick response. I was worried that I might have done something wrong. So excited to play this game. heh
