specifically; can we get the option to determine who the marriage-laws apply to (male/female) instead of it being based on whoevers the one in power? So like, women are in power, but men are still the ones with multiple wives? etc.

and on that note; can we have military service as its own thing? so men can recuse themselves from service in one religion in favor of uninheriting daughters being soldiers, or women letting the men lead armies since theyll never hold land

just figure it would allow more religions where half your kids arent useless, but *isnt* causing a massive inheritance explosion

Different attitudes towards male and female homosexuality perhaps? The Islamic world was generally more accepting of female homoeroticism whilst some Christians didn't even recognise it as "real" sex. Hellenism would also be much more accepting of male homosexuality whilst shunning female homosexuality.

One thing I really want is to divide Gender roles for Witchcraft. I want it so that I could have the Norse view of Women accepted of Witches but men who are known for doing magic are shunned, letting you blackmail them and all that. Or perhaps you are among some people who have it the other way around where it is the men who are meant to practice magic but women are not. Just give me the choices here. :)

Intersting video.

IIRC, Hellenistic Homosexuality was seen as a "active training" for reproductive sex. It was okay for one man to be the passive, as he was just a "training dummy" for the other one.

I think turning this into a 5-step selection similar to inheritance would be easiest. I would think:
Both Genders okay - gay okay, Lesbian shunned - Heterosexual only - lesbian okay, gay shunned - Both Genders okay
I do not think we get around have a duplicate at the end cases. But the only other solution would be to have one selection for purely lesbian and one for purely gay interactions.
