The Domain of the Piper:
The Piper had a very weak military only, 2k infantry and 1k cavalry. The Scots had 2k of both. This left the Piper at a horrible disadvantage, which lead me to focus on the military.
I took out a bank loan of 200 Ducats and hired some mercenaries, and recruited some cavalry units in the Western Isles.
King Duff I took command of the Piper's only unit and marched into Scotland at Fife. He was beaten back twice for being successful in his third attempt to siege that province.
Connacht offers us an alliance, which we accept.
Connacht accepts our Royal Marriage proposal.
The Civil war is going good for us expect for the siege of the Highlands which Scotland is conducting.
The Siege of Fife is won and we march to Ayershire. Where King Duff I battles a Scottish army of 1k men and defeats them easily.
Brittany offers us a Royal Marriage. We accept.
The war with Scotland continues to go our way as our recruited troops in the Western Isles come into play to fight the Scots as the Highlands. A battle they win, ending the Siege there.
Sadly, at this time, as many had predicted, The English were at war with the Scots but not just them but France and all of her allies too. This will both help and hurt me.
Leinster offers us an Alliance. Which we accept.

The war with Scotland goes 100% our way now, and with Scotland fighting England they wanted out of the Civil war so they offered us this.
