This is my suggested map for a divided America. The dots repressent claims for their respective nations. Deserets claim is jus on the southern few provences of California, a la the a map of the original plan of Deseret I found on some fascist website I found a while back.

Lacusterra is latin for lake land, ie the great lakes.

Toyed with the idea of giving Great Plains Federation claims on Texas, seeing as Texas is in Great Plains. However the population of The Great Plains is about 100 000 (if that) and it woudlnt have a chance to tell texas what to do. But under some variants Texas could be a part of it the GPF if its capital was at Dallas.

Vermont is small and tiny and would perhaps make more sense to have them in NE. However I wnated to celebrate their brief time as an independant republic by making them a nation.

A while back I made Lacusterra, first nation I'd ever made. However I sicne changed PC's and need to start over. Others with more modding experience will probably be better at it though.

Suggestions welcome. We could also get soem events sorted for these nations.

Interesting concept. Does Lacusterra have any basis in history?...Ive never heard of it before...

Whats the story with Atlantic Union also?

Lacusterra and the AU are entirely my inventions. With the AU we could perhaps suppose that they are the direct political successors of the USA. A better name might be good, considering it doesnt actualy have all of the Atlantic coast.

Ideas on how the Lacusterra states banded together are of course welcome, nay, needed.

I just tried making VErmont put its not comming up in game and I have no idea why. I think that if this iss going to be done it will need to be done primarily by people that arent myself. I'll keep trying for the moment though.

Yes, but the USA also never had all or even most of America ;)

One would hope they would make ammends for past sins when making these new nations :)

I have somewhat made Vermont...except it comes up in black and its flag or shield doesnt show  I deffinately told it be yellow and I thought I'd followed vikiwiki's guide correctly with the flag.

Pacific northwest should be called Cascadia, not columbia.

But Columbia is in the game already for those territories and the link you provided seems to indicate that it would probably be called 'The state of Jefferson' if anything...I infer that cascadia is the modern name for the seccesionist movement.
