Basically I want to know if there is any way to avoid conquering southern France to make N. African provinces stop being distant overseas if I am Aragon? I don't think so but figured I would see if anyone had a way.
It is 1556 and I am playing Aragon. I own most of Greece and Thrace (except Athens, Morea, Achaea, Edirne and Thrace), most of Asia Minor (Trebizond, Eserum, Candar, Mus and another land province are yet to be annexed) and all of N. Africa except Ifni (Portugal), Tunis and a couple of Algerian provinces up to and including Alexandria. I also own Judea, Calabria and Sardinia. As you can see I have a LOT of provinces that will probably be defined by the game as "Overseas". France and England are both my allies and have been amazingly helpful so I really don't want to have to fight France to get a land link to my African provinces. Besides moving my capitol is there any way to solve this without annexing a trail of provinces all the way along the northern Med and possibly around the top of the Black Sea? Thanks.
