What does the color of the text on this screen indicate? The green text indicates a royal marriage between the player and the target country, but what is the significance of the Yellow text versus the white text?

I will take a guess (might check later) that it is because the French king is old and heirless?
They are all with weak or no Heir.
It used to be all white, but that can get hard on the eyes if there are more then like 3 entries.
Just some lite coloring can help alot with reading.

the yellow ones are the ones who will currently end up in a PU on monarch death, white ones simply get a new dynasty

No, the yellow / white year prestige text is simply alternating. Just check at game start when there are like 12 heirless ruler.
