Now this has to be the silliest thing i have ever witnessed. I'm playing a fully westernized and reformed Aztec empire dominating central america and everything west of the Mississippi. I find myself at war with the Breton United States, Great Britain, and the Netherlands. Suddenly i get the disloyal Atepl event. I don't think i have to explain quite how retarded this is especially considering its the begging of the 18th century. :wacko:

Random divisions rebel because apparently they used the opportunity of me "making contact" with the Europeans even though i'm already westernized and reformed and its the 1700s

Yeah, disloyal altepetl events are incredibly annoying.

edit: especially since there's no siege and they just insta-occupy the province, giving it nationalism and stopping anything you were doing there.
