I was wondering what the opinion is about the FAA in Paris built by the sub for France last session? Should it stand or could it be moved/refunded/changed since there is a FAA in Paris event coming up?

Also is there any way of checking what alternative a sub took in an event afterwards if the sub was too drunk to remember?

To move FAA to another province isn't too much to ask.

To see the event choices for France, if France wasn't a host, usually it's enough to search for "France went". For a host I believe one should search for "We went".

The result for France after 1600 is:

"January 11, 1607 : France went with Stay Neutral in The Catholic League. "
"February 15, 1619 : France went with Kill them and expropriate their land in Revolt in France. "
"February 8, 1630 : France went with Yes we want it! in Academie Francaisé. "

Fun and stable session for Spain. I actually got time to focus on my economy for a while, so that one grew, as well as techs and trade. The graph looks fun, but not much is actually created income, just where Spain should be at this stage.

Lots of wars too, though i never participated in any of them.

STATS

VOC and VWC did good the last two decades, VOC expanding by use of her superior navy against Portugal, while VWC chose a peaceful way and bought a few Swedish colonies in Caribbean region. Portugal put a good fight. In the end VOC had to accept lower demmands than intended and Jakarta is still Portuguese .
Nevertheless, it is becomming clear where Dutch sphere of influence lies: Pacific ring with Indian Ocean islands is VOC playground, while much smaller VWC is trying to find her playe in Caribbean region.

In Europe Holland itself annexed oversized Oldenburg. It is still to be decided what to do with it...

Navy is advanced and leadership is excellent, just a few more warships...

pretty good session for Sweden.
Our economy is not growing very well cause of constant wars.

I could have killed both Denmark and Russia this session if i wanted to, or atleast disable Russia so badly that they would fight Russian minors for the rest of the game
Denmark is pretty much alive because the Swedish king wants to, that can change however and we all know that the Danish killer (Karl X Gustav) is coming up. He will surely not fail annexation in game as he did irl
We like to see better Danish diplomacy from now on, there involvment with France is not appreciated.

The Swedish king would also like to announce that French world police attitude lately have no affect on Sweden. We once more like to remind the French about Swedish control of Paris not so long ago. We will not hesitate to launch another French crusade if necessary.

I sure wasn't expecting Austria to win all those initial battles. With the same morale, and often a +1 or +2 modifier during the shock phase, and often a 3x cavalry advantage on the plains, how do I lose battle after battle?

Wierd RNG. Well, Sweden's intervention allowed Brandenburg to survive to the end of the session. Judging by Daniel's uber stabhits, I'd have lost quite a large portion of my country if he had the power to take it. It seems I'm always being saved from destruction by Sweden. It was dissappointing, I thought I'd be able to stand alone for once.

Clearly, wars are very expensive, even if one is a winning side .

In the last VOC-Portugal war Dutch losses were 133.000 man and 75 warships, of which 48 to attrition while blockading and Portuguese fleets. Portuguese losses were 83.000 man and 77 warships, almost all (71) in combat.

Expressed in local prices, Dutch army losses were worth about 2.500 d and Portuguese more than 1.700 d (no data on mercenaries). Dutch navy losses were worth about 2.600 d while Portuguese were about 3.550 d. In total, VOC paid about 5.100 d and Portugal paid more than 5.200 d.

As, said, huge numbers even if one was victorious. So, VOC is ready to talk about buying some Portuguese land instead of acquireing them by use of other methods.

Please, contact our Amsterdam headquarters, the territory and sums in question are so high that the Malaccan Office has no authority to discuss it.

Wars are expensive!? Really! We must immediately inform our government of these astounding news so that it can prepare to spend the next two centuries at peace, increasing our taxcollecting skills, trading efficiency and military capabilities without ever, ever, ever resorting to using them. Even better... if all nations were to disband all their military forces the annoying upkeep costs could be spent in these achievements as well and glorious monarchs would simply be unable to wage war for lack of forces to do so. What a splendid vision! King Louis XIV suggests that all his neighbours go first on this prospereous road to divine bliss! France will follow!

Well, my dear King of France, I would say the leader in economy stats is England, with Spain and France behind and only than Holland with the majority of other countres. Also, in the last decade Spain constructed 8 manufactories, followed by France who succeeded in adding "only" 5. Both have 12 manufacotries each, Ottomans have 9, and Holland is fourth with 7.
