-EVERY attacking nation (this includes the ones joining the original DoWer through alliance) MUST cancel MA through attacked countries

When you capture a indian culture, you gain temp CB shields on all the other same-culture provinces/nations, after session.
I'm pleased with this rules now, It's just sad to see that we need rules to control players behavior from gamey playstile...

judging from the rules- I assume the Netherlands will only appear if NATIONS (rather than players) want it to happen?

It might prevent some arguments from happening, though the more rules you have, the more arguments you have, because players always want to retreat to rules as their final excuse of failuer :).

How do you prevent arguments :). Its not like the GM can lock the keyboard of the bitching player while hes at it.

I did some tests as Brandenburg, i was dowed by AI two months after the game started every time. While AI like to invite new allies during war i ended up fighting half of Northern Europe before i managed to invite an ally (Brandenburg start with 0 diplomats so i first need to send my first diplomat to improve relations with a AI neighbour and then send another for inviting him to alliance). This means atleast 6 months of fighting against hugh AI armies alone before Brandenburg even are able to invite an ally.

I recomend some more edits to improve Brandenburgs chances in the first years.
*+50 relations with all German minors at start. (I would prefer +100 relations because AI dow nations with +50 relations as well, first at +100 they are considered as neutral).

*Increase starting cash to 100 Ducats, current starting cash is 50D. (I prefer 200Ducats because of the bad situation that Brandenburg start in a 1495 Scenario).

* Include atleast two more cores, Hessen and Hannover to Brandenburgian cores. It's around 250 years until Brandenburg get those cores in the Prussian event but for the survival sake they should start with them. Especially since Brandennburg start with cores on Köln and Cologne and to split up the kingdom with cores just make it worse. The BB hit will be a big problem for Brandenburg, they should get more cores earlier to decrese the BB hit for Brandenburg. (I would also prefer cores on Saxony and Bremen/Mecklenburg, if not possible maybe some kind of compromise to take away the cores on Köln/Cologne and Münster and put cores on the Saxony, Bremen and Mecklenburg instead).

* Remove the 20 cannons that the Brandenburgian army start with (They will only be disbanded anyway), and replace the cannons with lets say 5K cavalry instead?

* Put some merchants in Danzig and Köpenhamn from start, the 1 province minors start with merchants there and it would probably increase the support limit a bit, just to increase Brandenburgs chances from start.

What do you guys think? I don't need to say how hard it is for Brandenburg to survive the first 10-20 years vs hugh AI armies. I'm afraid that this changes will be very needed for Brandenburg.

Improving relations is fine, but I don't see any need to give cores on Hessen and Hannover. Just be careful in how you deal with the ai, and don't go on an annexing spree. Try to diplo-annex, and don't feel a need to become uber right away. The new events help Brandenburg become a lot stronger later so it'll have its time when it's supposed to anyway.

I actually found a error, hence I have removed cores on pommeren and added cores on erz and silesia instead.

The other cores would be more valuable to Brandenburg though! :p You control them and you can easily control the rest of Northern Germany.

So I can safely remove the two baliffs I promoted and add the 100d again? :D

(I would also prefer cores on Saxony and Bremen/Mecklenburg, if not possible maybe some kind of compromise to take away the cores on Köln/Cologne and Münster and put cores on the Saxony, Bremen and Mecklenburg instead).
I don't like it, I think its more than enough allready.

What do you guys think? I don't need to say how hard it is for Brandenburg to survive the first 10-20 years vs hugh AI armies. I'm afraid that this changes will be very needed for Brandenburg.
Brandenburg was not the biggest trader nation, I might be wrong? I will listen to the others :)

Brandenburg get core on Köln through event anyway, and a core on Münster is hardly more importent then a core on Hannover that is a very importent, straticagly importent provinces for further expansions...

whats with this overloading of Brandenburg anyway? I've seen PLENTY of games where they end up pretty strong, and that was without any edits to them....

now, I don't mind a core or two, and decent relations with Electors so they don't all jump Brandenburg at once, but I don't think we need an early Germany...

That is what i'm asking for, more or less. Better relations, put som traders in Danzig, remove 20 cannons and replace them with 5K cavalry instead. remove the core on münster, köln and cologne and put them on Hannover, Hessen and Saxony instead. :)
