BTW, the Ottoman Empire and Austria have signed a 10 year NAP, plus a 20 year agreement in which Austria postpones it's claims on Hungary. OE is not to convert any Hungarian provs in the meantime. Since Austria is in no condition to attack the OE but is rather vulnerable to an OE rape atm, this was necessary. No direct pledges of military support for Austria were forthcoming, and nobody attended the council of Vienna except the Portuguese ambassadors(is Portugal the only country that cares about the Austrian defense? ). So, with no other choice I have signed this treaty, and will wish the rest of Europe the best in their struggles with the Turk.

I refused to do any tech boosts or other crap, Fact is: spain is way behind where it even remotely should be because of a huge AI period. Also the fact Spain lost the use of several explorers, conquistadores, lost his navy and was miniting for 7 years straight is enough to make me want to boost them for game balance. Also spain is compensated with lost vassalisation income from holland and venice. Which holland paid for ingame with a brutal force vassalisation, and venice paid for now with tech reductions. I told cheech to mint for the repairs to spain and the vassalisation of holland, as I ruled it would be edited out allready when we played. Spain never had 16% inflation removed, I set it down to 10% which is by all means fair. These edits are the same France received when you took over...

EDIT: its should be mentioned some inflation cut was from last session where I had forgotten to repair spain from previous AI and newbie subs.

You are far to jumpy devil, I was simply wanting to reconfirm the edits as they weren't made public. The only reason I raised the ducat question was because Spain already has good savings. I never protested this was unfair, I just made a jib and you have justified it in the first half of your response.

Why the high pressure response?

edit: In addition France got less then 1/4 the effects of Spains edits .... so I don't see a similarity. Rather, i'm overall confused at your oddly impassioned response considering your impression about the GMs listening role.
