The Wars for Turkish Supremacy 1492-1499
In early 1492, A treaty was signed between Grand Vizier Ali Pasha and the Venetians. Having seen the strengh of the Osmanli army proven in the glorius victory of 1492. The Venetians accepted to cede the island of Ionia, as they recoqnised the Osmanli claims on it. Only days after, Osmanli troops arrived, and secured the island.
The Grand Vizier kept impressing the 'adala. As a rebellion broke out in kurdish Dukladir, he send general Ahmed in. He swiftly crushed all rebels, unfortunatly the capital was razed and since there was no goverment left, Dukladir was accepted into the Osmanli Empire.
Enraged by the annexation of Dukladir, the pityful wrong beleivers in Persia began rattling their sabres. Quickly forced where dispatched to the Persian border, but as Beyazid was looking into persia it Ismail had begun retreating. Hence a attack on Georgien was ordered as they had refused to accept the Sultan as overlord of the black sea. The Sultan invaded Georgia and it feel within days, unfortunately the mongol hordes of astrakhan decided this would be their time of glory and invaded georgia just as peace was about to be settled. The Sultan could do nothing else, but send in the famous Ottoman tiger troops, 2 months all of the hordes where burning. Seeing how allah was with the sublime porte, they accepted beyazid II as the one true leader of islam.

The Last Years of beyazid II: 1499-1512
All true belivers rejoice, as the Sultan returns home
Having acheived great succes as Sultan, Beyazid stated converting the newly conquered lands to the one true faith. At first he had a lot of succes, several new lands accepted the teachings of Allah. unfortunatly albania, morea, and smyrnia proved harder, hence several rebellions had to be put down. In Beyazid's last years, he spent most of his time promoting new goverment officials, and ensuring that corruption was kept at a minimum.
In 1512, Beyazid II died mysteriously... and the struggle between the sons, Ahmed and Selim began, who should be the next sultan? But while Ahmed was away, Selim had managed to turn the Janissaries on him, after a battle outside Istanbul, ahmed was defeated. Selim returned to the city and took the title of 'adala. All hailed Selim I.

Only months after having assumed the title of Sultan, Selim I began preparations to crush the mameluks. Disgusted by the attempt to convert good sunni's into shiites, Selim launched an attacked on the mameluks in 1512.
Knowing that all true sunni's wouldn't fight the Ottoman liberators. He quickly reached Egypt. He began an assault on the capital, and within months it fell. Securing the capital proved to be a disasterous blow to the mameluks, within months the whole empire crumbled, and accepted Selim I as their Sultan.
Returning Victorius from Egypt, he announced himself to be the Khalifa - The Guardian of Islam!
The Shiite War: 1515-1518
The annexation of the mameluks, did not go unnoticed in Persia, The shah was so enraged, he ordered all able men to arms. With the pitiful wrong beleivers in Persia rattling their sabres again. The Sultan invaded Persia, demanding all of Kurdistan as compensation. Ismail rejected the demands and war raged back and forth. After some major fighting, the shiites where defeated, and accepted Ottoman supremacy of the Middle east. The peace terms included Oman embrassing the one true faith as state religion. It was a great victory, all Glory to the Iman, Allah be praised!!
The Death of a Great Sultan: 1518-1520
During the war, a rebellion had struck Anatolia. The rebellion was seriously threatening Ottoman authority in Anatolia, and unfortunately before Selim could reach Anatolia. The Grand vizier Ali Pasha, was killed in battle against rebels. Enraged by this Selim I, took a large cavalery detachment and charged in, to rout the rebelles. But unfortunately he was killed in battle. It was a honorable death, to die in battle is no shame, Selim I and Ali Pasha will allways be remembered....
