When you mobilise Ducal Force or Grand, you choose Mobilisation Point where the Regiments will gather. When anybody is a Count in >1 province, he/she will lead only 1 Reg and the other will be lead by temporary Commanders chosen from Royal Council/Court.

The worst being having a fleet in the port hidden behind that f**ing land unit on small island: You generally select the land unit or the sea zon, but hardly the land zone (island) otr the port !

Yes, I think this was the case in Normandy. Although I think it only happened when you were building an army - when you tried to select a fleet in port all you got was the time remaining for the army build.:)

Sergei, is there a "connetable" in CK?

For those who don't know what a connetable was, it was the field commander named by the King and responsible before the King to plan and carry out all military operations. Example, in Medieval France, no King couldn't do anything military without the consent of the connetable. The only other solution for a King was to replace the connetable by another if a deadlock was reached.

So, do you name a field commander from the Court for the duration of the campaign until the ost is dismantled? If yes, can it refuse to carry out an order? In that case, can you replace him by another afterwards?

I really agree on the point that we should be able to set "plans" on how to march. One of my biggest annoyances in EU was the stupid routes the AI used. I wouldn´t like to have to direct them in every prov so simply add shift+click or something. Anyway I would like to see some sort of ETA as well but dispence with the whole all attrition happens at day 1 of the month. I´d like the feature as a information thing. Not as a possible exploatation of the AI feature.:)

They are surely leading their troops.
But imagine Royal Demesne of Sussex and Glamorgan mobilizing - you don't expect both Regiments to be led simultaneously by the King, do you?

I don't see why not. King Henry has been know to lead both the French troops and the Huguenot when they battled each other in EUII. :p

so will we have a different interface from eu2 like one for normal screen other for siege and a tactical battle one?

what i am hoping to see is that info is presented or broken down for armies into how much foraging they doing desertion rates, training etc....will there be limit on how many troops that counts/dukes etc can control....i would love to see a dif panel for tactical battle than in eu2...hoping for some options as to what tactics and stuff to use
