Wow...

Hmm, try that with England :D

Seriously, the problem as I see it is that you drag boxes to select armies already.

You know what I mean! ;) Well, there would always be the left/right mouseclick option I guess. I just imagine it would make upgrading provinces in say France or Germany so much easier if you didn't have to click every province.

Of course, we could have some sort of customizable "build que" ala Master of Orion 3 that could help the player.

That is amazing!

Wow, that second screenshot really shows how much Paradox have really listened to the fans. Culture and religion percentages (as well as others) and nice and tiny provinces. Two thumbs up! :D

Wow - lots of provinces. I just hope they also increase the number of North American provinces...

Well, the province size was decided when we discussed the Civil War... It is hard to simulate all the battles with large provinces :)

The map will be divided in the following way:

Countries
Regions
Provinces

The naming is not 100% decided yet but that is the idea anyway. We may still change that as the beta is still a couple of months away.

I love the smaller provinces, and no PTI! I'll probably end up some minor African tribe, playing power politics, playing one superpower off another, subjugating my enemies.... :D

Maybe you could send your merchants (if there is such a thing) to the nearest Cot (or whatever is similar in Victoria) as the great Dek chieftain of the Inuit nation!:D

That sounds really intriguing! Great! Sounds like you'll get around all of the inherent problems in adding more and more provinces - that of endless micro-management.

One minor note - please also add a few more provinces in areas that didn't see fighting in North America, but theoretically could have. Sooner or later a US player will wnat to invade Canada, and I'll want to fight them back :)

Probably provinces, too small to be regions.

Sounds that way. A very interesting way to handle large areas without the micromanagement as our Canadian neighbor pointed out.:)
