that's a promising review. About what I expected from what I know about the game so far.


The thing about a converter, is this a confirmed plan of Paradox's? I've heard nothing but denial denial denial about this speculated feature. If so, all I can say is woo-hoo!

I dont care at all about a converter. I have bought EU2 when it came out and spent countless hours on it but never even saw the Napoleon era units. Secundo, I'd rather have an editor than a converter.

the Ram seems fine, but those 2 requirements seem out of this world for a Paradox game, where did this guy dream them up?

Same here with the converter...good if it's done, good if it isn't. Of course, I'll be having fun with the game either way.

Btw, I took "anemic" to mean "excessively thin" (ie: lacking pages/detail). But well, if what IS included in it remains good enough, I wouldn't really care about the length.

The 1881 thing does seem promising though....

Population of America in 1855 45,000,000!!! The population in 1860 was really only 30,000,000. That's a 50% increase! How is that possible! Did he annex all of Mexico!

EDIT: I think he must have annexed most of Mexico, there is another screenshot showing the US overrunning Mexico in 1855. But even adding all of Mexico's population to that of the US I don't think it would add up to 45 million.

i like the little disclaimer the author of the review wrote at the very bottom of the page. here it is:

"Truth in Journalism notice: in the interest of ever getting this bloody review finished, I confess that I'm writing this review on a laptop several rooms removed from my home gaming system. Well I dont care about those specs. I'd fullfill it even if they were twice as demanding as they are in this review. All I care is the problem the guy pointed at ! 15 000 000 more people than historically. That's a bit far off...
