So two DLC packages have been announced already;

The Mongols and the Dynasty Shields

Do you get these DLC free when you preorder at GG? And can you play as the mongols in the mongol pack?

I do like the Dynasty shields one, hope Steam gets its things together in time so I can get the pre-order bonus too.

NOTE to those pre-ordering physical boxes. (i.e., TheHut, zavvi, HMV, Amazon, etc.)

Seems you won't get the DLC if you buy the boxed version (even though it's Steam, it's technically not Steam pre-order).

No, you will just see them when you interact with the Mongols.

Meh, I already pre-ordered the boxed version. I thought the pre-order bonuses would be the same (or that they would be so lame that it doesn't matter). But these two DLCs seems really cool. Especially the Mongol faces one, that's a must buy.

99.99% sure Amazon will have it, as they have asked about formats etc

interacial marriages will give birth to mixed dna sons? (eg. if my son marries the daughter of a converted mongol, their son will have different dna compared to caucasian "pure" dudes?)

I think that was the purpose. As a matter of principle I agree with your statement, but if the DLCs are just cosmetic changes (which they seem to be) I'm fine with them being separate from the vanilla game.

I know it's part of the pre-order, which makes it a little bit better. I will probably pre-order myself, though I would do that anyway.

I'm just not yet completely sold on the new Paradox DLC-fetish.

Me neither. Right now I´m thinking about waiting for cheap packages on summer or christmas sales in GG or Steam. That way you have all you want in a simple package.
