Well, its not too long ago that they invited people to alpha, so its a bit early I think. How about we just wait for the announcement?
There is a closed alpha going on, but don't expect to learn a lot about it due to NDA agreements...

I think it's still a lot of stuff for the Devs to fix, improve and implement before the game can enter the beta stage. Like you can see, the open beta of Crysis 3 was released when all the graphics, mechanics and etc. were already done, and they were only making final improvements in the environment (maps and so on).

If you weren't aware, a 'closed' beta isn't a literally 'closed' beta.
Just saying that the goal of beta test is not "play/try before you buy"...Demo should be there for such purpose...
alpha beta closed is it was finished sometime ago or is still going on, to Myself and couple of my friends think we should being discuss about an open beta the other major city building game simcity has 2 closed beta

Public alpha would be nice where people get to vote on ideas. There was a 4X space strategy game just recently that did this, forget the name though.

I think that alpha beta is finished and and no new information has been post about a closed beta or a demo. I would like to start a discussion on the subject but people complain how i write. if any one would to talk about it please post here
