Tried playing as Brandenburg.
The second I conquer a province everyone gains up on me, I proceed to swamp my self in loans until I have enough soldiers to fight them off. Take horrific losses compared to the computer. Still manage to fight them off. Try to chase the enemy into a province. Get declared on. A 16 stack swoops in and kills my 8 units. Both my allies, Austria and Bohemia desert me.
I lose that war and am forced to give up two provinces. That's okay though, I can roll with the punches I'm only down to what I started with, no big deal. I look around, find a Brunswick as an ally, get Bohemia back again.
Brunswick goes on a conquesting spree. My armies get decimated in each engagement, manage to peace out early.
Down to 2 provinces. Spend years trying to battle loans, get declared on again Bohemia drops me like a sack of potatoes. I build up a new army. My 8 versus their 8, perhaps a potential for success? Nope, my superior discipline, tactics, morale and leader has no chance against the dice rolls of the computer. Proceed to get stomped.
Down to one province with 95 loans. Can only afford a single soldier. Get declared on, almost get conquered but pretender rebels to the rescue! They then proceed to take over. Which is fine, except during the siege the interest of the loans was more then I can afford, forcing me to take more and more loans as the siege progresses.
I collapse into bankruptcy and tears.
